EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock for PS5 is a water block that covers the entirety of the PS5â??s PCB and cools all the critical components on the front and back of the PCB. It is mounted via standard ATX stand-offs for motherboards, making mATX cases a perfect fit for a water-cooled PS5. The monoblock features rich D-RGB lighting on the front with a plexi cutout. Power delivery is converted from the 2-pin DC connector to the two 8-pin PCIe connectors via a custom PCB mounted on this product.

It is important to note that this monoblock requires the rest of the custom water-cooling loop to function, an ATX-standard Power Supply for power delivery, and an external RGB controller for the optional RGB LED effect. Please check our alert notes and manual before starting the disassembly process. The additional m.2 SSD drive is compatible with this monoblock, but requires disassembly to be accessed and installed. Don't let the external noise of air-cooling fans disrupt your immersion in a fantastic cutscene or lead to your demise in a boss fight. Water-cooling your PS5 will enable you to maintain consistent temperatures with minimal fan speed fluctuations, resulting in hardly noticeable changes in noise. Thanks to the extensive surface area of a water-cooling radiator, lower fan speeds are enough to dissipate heat, resulting in reduced noise levels. An additional benefit is that all the electrical components will operate at lower temperatures, extending their lifespan. Like with the stock air cooling, the monoblock cools every vital PS5 component. From the SOC chip, GDDR6 VRAM, various controllers, and Voltage Regulation module to the integrated SSD NAND memory chips. The SOC transfers heat via thermal paste, and the other chips get their dedicated thermal pads to transfer heat to the monoblock. Crafted with meticulous precision using state-of-the-art CNC machining techniques, this monoblock features impeccable accuracy and a flawless finish.  The installation process requires disassembling the PS5, taking out the PCB, and mounting it inside the monoblock. By enveloping it in this monoblock, it becomes significantly smaller and more elegant, and can easily fit inside mATX PC cases.  EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock for PS5 is a true one-piece, sturdy, and reliable liquid-cooling product that requires only two G1/4 connector fittings for proper operation within a liquid-cooling loop. The monoblock base is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper with a see-through acrylic window. Additional cosmetic and assembly pieces are made of stainless steel and aluminum, and do not come in contact with the coolant, so there is no mixing of metals. The addressable D-RGB LED strip runs down the front where the Plexi window is located, featuring 24 individually addressable LEDs. This requires a separate RGB controller to power and control the LEDs, as the PS5 itself does not have that option. As with any standard monoblock for PC processors, the EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock for PS5 requires a pump to run the coolant and a radiator with fans to dissipate heat. Naturally, these components would be linked via fittings and tubes. All these components can be found on the EK webshop. This monoblock features a PCB that converts the standard 2-pin DC power connector of the PS5 to dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors on a PC power supply. Thus, a separate ATX-standard PC power supply is required to power the water-cooled PS5.  This monoblock is compatible with the following revisions of the PlayStation 5. Older revisions are not compatible due to physical differences.
