Introducing the EK-Quantum Momentum ² ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero D-RGB - Plexi, a Quantum Line monoblock meticulously engineered for seamless compatibility with the ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero motherboard. This advanced cooling solution boasts the latest Velocity ² LGA 1700 cooling engine, designed with low restriction and high-performance capabilities, providing a comprehensive liquid cooling solution for both the CPU and motherboard, tailored for 12th, 13th and 14th-generation Intel ® processors. Notably, the Momentum ² monoblock adheres to EK-Matrix7 standards.
Employing the cutting-edge EK-Quantum Velocity ² cooling engine, this monoblock achieves unparalleled CPU cooling efficiency while maintaining optimal flow for other system components. The OptiFlow cooling engine, calibrated specifically for Intelâ??s LGA 1700 socket processors, ensures effective cooling for the voltage regulation module, Intel Coreâ?¢ CPU, and LAN controller chip.
This monoblock boasts an I/O cover that facilitates effortless Polymo Lighting Display integration. Distinguished by its high-flow design, the EK-Quantum Momentum ² caters to systems with varying water pump capacities and pump speed settings, making it a versatile solution for liquid cooling enthusiasts. The monoblock features sophisticated D-RGB (addressable) lighting, comprising 8 LEDs, seamlessly integrated with ASUS Aura Sync RGB control software. The LEDs connect to the Aura Gen2 on the ROG Z790 Dark Hero motherboard, aligning with the arrow marking.

Crafted with a nickel-plated electrolytic copper base and a top made of high-quality cast acrylic material, the monoblock exhibits exceptional durability and thermal conductivity. Nickel-plated brass screw-in standoffs, pre-installed for user convenience, facilitate straightforward installation. Â Unlike other solutions on the market, this is a true one-piece, sturdy, and reliable liquid cooling product that requires only two connector fittings for proper operation. For the CPU, please use the enclosed (electrically non-conductive) thermal grease, EK-TIM Ectotherm. Â This product is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync RGB control software. The arrow marking on the 3-pin LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the AURA addressable Gen2 LED header. The monoblock is equipped with an I/O cover, which makes the Polymo Lighting Display integration a breeze.
